My journey on Charles Street began when I started grilling for my three sons. As we experimented with different flavors and grilling techniques, quite naturally we gravitated toward our favorites. These favorites are the backbone of our grilling tastes and we are happy to share them with you.
Pure Maple Syrup is the key ingredient in Charles Street Flavors Original BBQ sauce. David's Father Dennis Schraufnagel taught me the how to make maple syrup, a process that I continue to this day.
The impetus for Ancho Chili with Lime came from a suggestion from Ken Schauer who loves the unique flavor of Ancho Chilies
My Father has been tending bees on our farm for years. So it is easy to see where the idea for a honey-based BBQ sauce came originated.
